Hosted on February 6th and 7th, 2026, at the Prestige Centre for Performing Arts (PCPA) in Bengaluru, InvokED 5.0 marked a five-year milestone of bringing together over 800 changemakers—including government officials, civil society leaders, philanthropists, and youth.
Over the two days, InvokED provided a space to pause, listen, and realign around a common thread: systems change begins with collective leadership and shared ownership. Day 1 set the tone for the dialogue with the overarching theme of collective leadership, emphasising that shared responsibility must be backed by shared investment in network weaving and systems change, rather than relying on isolated programmes. Brain Dates, with its interactive format, highlighted the need for collective architectures, exploring evidence as shared learning, capital as a relational resource, and dialogue as a way to build trust and alignment. Furthermore, discussions expanded beyond India to explore how these lessons can shape a global education movement for “One Billion Futures” across the Global South. Building on this foundation, Day 2 grounded us in the stories of collaboration and collective action through the Bright Spots Showcase. The subsequent sessions explored how the community, along with the system, can help achieve education equity by taking small but substantial steps towards transformation.
While the Leadership Spotlights yet again brought together a mesmerising blend of leadership stories and cultural art forms, Shikshagraha Museum, co- created with our Shikshagraha partners, served as a powerful showcase of community voice, shared values, and grassroots change. A major highlight was the Shikshagraha Awards 2026—instituted by The Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiatives, which celebrated education leaders from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Meghalaya for driving courageous, community-rooted change across diverse contexts in India.
InvokED 5.0 was a powerful celebration of collective ownership and systemic transformation. The dialogue was defined by deep connections, inspiring conversations, and the shared resolve to urgently address educational inequities.
